  • Saturday - Tuesday 00:00-04:30 SAST
  • Saturday & Sunday 00:00-04:30 SAST
  • Thursday - Sunday 09:45-14:15 SAST

Experience:

  • Experience is preferred, but we offer extensive training for all candidates, so don't be shy to apply if you have never taught.
  • The training would be five working days of dedicated platform, methodology and lesson cycle training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide students while delivering English lessons based on a well-developed curriculum and teaching methodology.
  • Engage and encourage students positively throughout the lesson.
  • Manage a classroom and provide feedback to students on their language proficiency.

Minimum requirements:

  • A matric/high school diploma is required
  • A degree/studying towards a degree is preferred
  • A 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate is advised
  • Great command of the English language (accent neutral)
  • Computer literate and able to troubleshoot

Technical Requirements:

PC specifications :

  • Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or greater 
  • Memory: 8GB RAM or greater

Backup power :

  • Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching) . This is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • A separate mini power supply system to power your fibre router as an independent system.

Internet Connection:

  • A stable FIBRE internet connection - at a minimum of 25 mbps upload and download speeds 
  • PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection 
  • PLEASE NOT WE DO NOT ACCEPT WIFI OR LTE CONNECTIONS

Other:

  • Noise-cancelling  headsets and HD web camera. 
  • Back-up headset is highly recommended 
  • Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
